Our Fees
Our fees vary depending on the services you require. For some legal services, such as most real estate transactions, most wills, and many immigration applications, we offer flat fees (subject to certain terms and conditions). For other services, such as representation in litigation, we will typically bill at an hourly rate, or possibly provide services on a contingency fee basis.

Initial Consultation on a Litigation or Immigration Matter
Our fees are competitive with other law firms in Calgary. All of our fees are subject to GST. We typically charge for consultations.

Residential Real Estate and Business Law
Most of our fees for residential real estate transactions, and some of our fees related to business law, are flat fees. For a typical residential purchase and mortgage transaction, we charge $750. Disbursements and other out-of-pocket expenses are on top of our fees. While we pride ourselves on being competitive with other Calgary law firms, our priority is quality of service. Our focus is on providing our clients with the best possible service and on producing outcomes that make our clients happy. In most cases, fees related to litigation will be based on an hourly rate, although in some cases, we may represent clients on a contingency fee basis.

Wills and Estates
Wills (including enduring powers of attorney and personal directives) are typically done on a flat fee basis. Our estate administration fees may involve a combination of flat-fee and hourly billing, depending on the particular circumstances and complexity of the estate.
