04. Canadian Immigration Law
At Weninger Zhang, we practice in most areas of Canadian immigration law, including applications for visas, work and study permits, permanent residence applications, family sponsorship applications, and citizenship applications. We also represent clients on applications based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds and have experience representing clients making refugee claims.
In addition to common economic immigration and family sponsorship applications, at Weninger Zhang, we also represent clients who are looking to appeal or judicially review a negative decision from an immigration officer or an immigration tribunal. We have experience handling refugee claims, admissibility hearings, spousal sponsorship appeals, and residency appeals, and we have also represented clients before the Federal Court of Canada in judicial review applications.
Albert Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) Applications
We enjoy representing client on Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) applications. Currently, there are two basic AINP streams, the Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS) and the Alberta Express Entry stream. The Alberta Government is planning on introducing four new streams under its Alberta Advantage Immigration Strategy. Stay tuned for more information on these upcoming immigration programs.
